The concept for Little Journeys originated from XXXX’s own family planning. In 2017 she started to do some research, knowing that childcare would be a necessity. Both her and her husband worked 40+ hours a week in demanding careers. After doing research on childcare in the Grosse Pointes and neighboring communities, she found a significant shortfall. The options for childcare that were flexible, reliable and close to home were too few. She brainstormed ways to solve this problem not only for her but for so many other local families. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from Arizona State University in 2019. In the years that passed she had 3 beautiful children, teaching her so much more beyond the books about young children. At the same time, her education allowed her to put her learnings to practice and it helped her understand her children and their development. XXXX continued to seek out the right location and was approached by XXXX with an opportunity that eventually landed her at this current location. She’s elated to provide childcare services to this great community.
